Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Payment

• A booking is confirmed once a deposit of 25% of the total booking value has been received.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days (2 weeks) before the retreat start date.
• If the balance is not received by this date, Shanti Agung reserves the right to cancel the booking and release the space, and the deposit is forfeited.
• Accepted payment methods: bank transfer / PayPal.
• Prices are quoted in IDR / AUD and are subject to change until a deposit has secured the booking.

2. Cancellations & Changes

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the retreat start date receive a refund of any amount paid, excluding the non-refundable 25% deposit.
• Cancellations made 14–29 days before the retreat start date receive a 50% refund of the balance paid, excluding the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the retreat start date receive no refund.
• Date changes or rescheduling requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability.
• Shanti Agung is not responsible for costs arising from travel disruptions, illness, or other circumstances beyond our control (see Force Majeure, Section 8).

3. Housekeeping & Linen

• Bed linen and towels are changed every 7 days during a stay.
• For longer bookings, linen is changed every 7 days from arrival.
• Guests may request additional linen changes at any time for an additional fee of IDR 100,000 per bed.
• General room cleaning takes place every 7 days, or as required or requested by the guest.

4. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in from 2:00pm; check-out by 11:00am.
• Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged in advance, subject to availability.

5. Guest Conduct & Retreat Etiquette

• Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests, staff, facilitators, and the local community at all times.
• Quiet hours are observed from 10pm to 8am.
• Smoking is not permitted at Shanti Agung retreat.
• Shanti Agung reserves the right to ask a guest to leave the property, without refund, in cases of behaviour that endangers others, damages property, or seriously disrupts the retreat.

6. Facilitator-Led Programs

• Shanti Agung is a venue-hire retreat space. Creative, wellness, music, meditation, and corporate programs hosted on site are independently run by visiting facilitators and organisers.
• Shanti Agung is not responsible for the content, instruction, or outcomes of facilitator-led programs; enquiries about a specific program's content should be directed to the organising facilitator.

7. Health, Safety & Liability

• Guests participate in all activities (including surfing, use of the surf break out front, yoga, and movement-based sessions) at their own risk.
• Guests are strongly encouraged to hold their own travel and medical insurance for the duration of their stay.
• Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements so we can make reasonable arrangements.
• Shanti Agung’s liability is limited to the value of the booking; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Force Majeure

Shanti Agung is not liable for failure to perform its obligations where this is due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, civil unrest, or public health emergencies. In such cases, we will work with guests in good faith on rescheduling or credit where possible.

9. Photography & Media

Shanti Agung may take photographs or video of the property and events for promotional use. Guests who do not wish to be included should notify us on arrival.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
